“Took our son there in 1994 when he was 5. Took him back the next year. Then took him back when he was 21. We returned again with his girlfriend last year and are going there for the fifth time for the Adults Only week. Best and most relaxing time, fun vacation for you and old. And I can attest to that having been [to the ranch] you and am now 67. Not a better spot or vacation anywhere for any money. Great food. Great fellow guests and [an] incredible experience. “My husband and I just spent an amazing week at the Bar Lazy J Guest Ranch. Our vacation there exceeded ALL of our expectations. Our vacation there rates in the top three of all of our vacations and we have experienced many great vacations. Many of their guests are returning guests and we certainly plan to be a returning guest. There really is a “little bit of magic” there and you will feel it as soon as you arrive at the ranch. The owners Jerry and Cheri go way above and beyond to insure their guests have a grand time. The entire staff is wonderful and the horses are awesome. “Amazing experience! I visited this ranch last year, being a young solo female traveller travelling from so far away I was rather nervous to visit but I didn’t need to be at all. The staff were fantastic and so helpful with everything. The other guest were so friendly, I never felt lonely or bored, I was constantly included and invited to join people or things. I had so many incredible rides while I was there I couldn’t pick a favourite. A huge highlight of my trip was getting to shoot at the gun range with Chad (and his family) he was a fantastic instructor. “Great riding vacation. Just returned from a week long of horseback riding. For the money you can’t go wrong. The service, food, and riding was excellent. This ranch is for those that can relax and go without tv, phone, and internet during your stay. You can do as much or as little as you want. They even have programs for the children. “Wonderful experience for adults and children. We selected this ranch for our family reunion based on the variety of activities offered. The children’s program in particular was outstanding and ensured that our grandchildren, from ages 4-16, had a memorable time. The adults were also well taken care of.
